How can I best use my spare change to give the right change? This app will take an amount of change in cents and show you all the combinations of Quarters, Nickels, Dimes, and Pennies that could possible be used to make that amount of change. Just put in an amount of change from 1 to 99 cents, and hit make change. Use the next and previous buttons to sort through the list of combinations which are ordered in decreasing efficiency (i.e. the ones that use less coins are first). You can even exclude some coins form the calculations. Large amounts of change (like 99 cents) may take some time (at most about 30s) to process.
